Need a second opinion?
When I’m in my own head, trying to get through a sticky wicket, things can get muddled. Whether it’s fear, tunnel vision, inertia, or stubbornness, sometimes I can’t get out of my own way. Perhaps this has happened to you?
It’s helpful, I’ve found, to bounce conundrums against a friendly backboard. Sometimes, questions and problems seem clearer, especially with objective observations from a trusted third party. Making a thoughtful choice among two paths diverging in a yellow wood (with thanks to Mr. Frost,) can sometimes unstick a persistent stuck. (Think of it as WD-40 for life choices.)
You might be wrestling with your professional path or trying to decide whether or not to pursue a graduate degree. Maybe it’s just how to build a perfect capsule wardrobe for these new hybrid work-from-home-and-the-office times. I’m not a therapist, but I have a lot of experience helping people evaluate and make the most of their options. I can provide accountability, too, if such a thing helps you with stick-to-it-iv-ness.
